Using Your HSA for Breath Therapy
You may be able to use your Health Savings Account (HSA) to pay for breath therapy when the sessions are being used to support treatment of a diagnosed medical condition.
In some cases, your HSA provider may require a Letter of Medical Necessity (LMN) from a licensed healthcare provider recommending breath therapy as part of your care.
You can pay with your HSA card, or you may be able to pay out of pocket and reimburse yourself through your HSA. Be sure to keep your receipt and any supporting medical documentation for your records.
Please check with your HSA provider to confirm eligibility before scheduling, as individual plans and documentation requirements may vary.
